Privacy Policy
Plain English: Algorithm coaching stays on your iPhone. AI Compose and AR Suggest send a small still image + short text to OpenAI. Album photos stay on your device unless you export them. You can delete your account in Profile.
1. Information we collect
Account
FrameGuide uses Sign in with Apple via Supabase. We may receive a user ID and email (sometimes an Apple private relay). We store a profile and weekly usage counters (AI uses / clean export unlocks).
Camera & Album
Camera access powers coaching and AR Frame Match. Album shots are stored locally on your device. Save to Photos uses add-only Photos permission when you export. We do not run a cloud photo backup of your Album.
AI features (Compose & AR Suggest)
When you use these features, we send a compressed, downscaled JPEG and short prompt/context text to OpenAI to generate framing tips. This is not a continuous video stream.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple and managed with RevenueCat. We link your FrameGuide account ID so Pro can restore when you sign in again. We do not receive your full card number.
Advertising (Free)
Non-Pro users may see Google AdMob banners and optional rewarded ads. Ad providers may collect device/advertising data under their policies. Pro removes ads.

We do not sell your personal information.
4. Retention & deletion
Account data is kept while your account exists. Album photos remain on-device until you delete them or uninstall the App. Profile → Delete Account removes your FrameGuide auth user and related profile/usage records. Deleting the account does not cancel Apple billing — manage subscriptions in iOS Settings.
5. Your choices
- Sign out or Delete Account in Profile
- Control Camera / Photos permissions in iOS Settings
- Skip AI features if you don’t want images sent to OpenAI
- Upgrade to Pro to remove ads (where offered)
6. Children
FrameGuide is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information.
7. International transfers & security
Providers may process data in the United States and other countries. We use reasonable security measures; no system is perfectly secure.

We may update this Policy and will change the “Last updated” date. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Policy where allowed by law.
